About Lujiazui Financial City
Lujiazui Financial City (also known as Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone), located in Pudong New Area of Shanghai, with a current area of 31.78 square kilometers, i.e., the part of Pudong within the Inner Ring Road of Shanghai, is the only national development zone named “Finance and Trade” in China. In 2009, with the central government's decision to extend the China (Shanghai) Free Trade Zone to Lujiazui, Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone was recognized by the State Council as the core functional area for Shanghai to build an international finance center, with the most complete financial market system, financial infrastructure, financial ecosystems in the country, which provides an important platform for the landing of financial institutions, the concentration of financial talents, and the activation of financial transactions.Its position as the core functional area of Shanghai's international financial center is more and more prominent.
About China Venture Capital & Private Equity Association
China Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCPEA) is a national social organization approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (Document No. [2010]36) and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs (Document No. [2010]6080). It is currently a nationwide private equity and venture investment industry association officially approved and registered by government authorities (Registration No. 4122-9).
The mission of CVCPEA is to promote and implement national policies and regulations related to private equity and venture investment, research about the major theoretical and practical issues in the field, provide training for specialized professionals in the industry, strengthen industry standards and self-regulation, protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, build bridge and connection between private equity/venture capital enterprises and government authorities, among private equity/venture capital enterprises themselves, and between private equity/venture capital enterprises and startups. The association aims to drive the sustained, healthy, and rapid development of China's private equity and venture investment industry.
